Grammy Winning Style: Steal this Look, Amy Winehouse

It's no surprise that Amy Winehouse swept the grammy's (most notably for Best New Artist), but she's been sweeping up the style competition as well with her unusual ensembles. One part rockabilly, one part do-wop chic, Amy Winehouse certainly strikes a unique profile. You can see her coming a mile away with her bouffant hairdo and over-the-top look.

However, now that she's a big winner, it will be no surprise to me if more and more fashionista's start emulating her style. Short of the huge hair, this is actually a pretty cute look: pencil skirt, bright wrap top, basic purse, interesting jewelry...looks like a winner to me!

I have to give any celeb major fashion snaps for being so brave as to add out of season color like this any time of the year...sometimes it could be a major flop. But when you pair your color (as an accessory) with a solid clothing palette, it ends up making your colorful piece stand out and shine. Let's face it...both of these outfits are cute, but the orange heels push them from forgettable to downright avant-garde.
