Oscar Fashion Favorite: Kate Winslet in YSL
Ah, YSL and Kate Winslet...quite the dynamic duo. At first glance I wasn't so sure but I like this girl so much that if she wore a burlap sack to the Oscar's I'd be bragging about it today! I think this is definitely one of those dresses that shows better in person. The asymmetrical design showed well enough on camera but I don't know that you could truly appreciate the embroidered silk overlay unless you could really see it close up. Here is a better shot of the detail.
Top it off with the beautifully accessorized YSL sandals and clutch in addition to the Chopard diamonds and you have my favorite look of the night. It really was close though between Kate and my second favorite Freida Pinto in John Galliano.

What I Want Now: Betsey Johnson Lotion
I love Betsey Johnson. Love, love, love her. I love her edgy yet ultra feminine designs. Check out her Spring 2009 collection to see what I mean. I especially like perusing her Vintage Betsey collection. I personally can't afford her clothing line so I snap up her accessories to nab her flair.
Lately however I've been obsessed with her fragrance. Truthfully it reminds me of Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret which is likely a more affordable alternative. They must use similar notes in their fragrance blends. Beyond the scent, my favorite part is the rosy exterior of this fine fragrance. I love the all pink tube covered in roses that's lettered in gold metallic. Perhaps it's exacerbated this time of year due to the pink and floral nature of Valentine's Day, but I am a girly girl and I love the lotion largely due to the packaging. Yep, I'm one of those. I love pink, puppy dogs, cupcakes and more so there!

Melie Bianco Braided Hobo seen in Lucky Magazine
So I've been carrying our Melie Bianco Braided Hobo around the boutique for weeks. It's no secret that my customers have often stopped in to find me modeling my favorite bags around the store having a great time. My brother who helps me at the store often just shakes his head in disbelief that I can get so much joy by slinging a handbag over my shoulder and prancing around the store like I'm on the runway! Wheee!
Well in the February issue of Lucky Magazine, editor Noria Morales listed this very bag in her "What I want Now!" section.
